Barmy Debra decided to take me and her bicycle on the ferry to Dieppe, in France, on July 2009.
She was too tired (lazy, I say), to cycle anywhere further than Dieppe port. So, we set up the tent just around the corner from the port. At least we had a sea view.
Without the tent on Debra’s back, we rode to nearby by villages and hamlets over the few days of our trip.
My favourite thing was a visit to a cool museum, in the castle, where we met the weird beings made from shells and rubbish found on the beach! Upcycling is the way to go!
You can read about some of my travels, in Mummy Debra’s book. Travels with my Teddy Bear. (Travelogues and musings of a woman with Asperger’s Syndrome and her teddy bear). https://bearsac.com/book/
The book covers our travels between 2000 and 2007. The countries in the book are: America, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Sri Lanka, Holland, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Germany, Poland, Japan, Estonia, Latvia, Russia, Mongolia, China and 4 days on the Trans-Mongolian train.
