TransMongolian Train

Travelling from Moscow and alighting four and a half days later in Ulaan Baatar, we experienced a long, long train journey. We met lots of humans and had a bit of a party. I saw snowy trees blur into sheer whitenesss as the Trans-Mongolian chugged east. From Moscow’s bustle to Mongolia’s wide silence, each clack of the rails felt like a lullaby. At least to me, even if not to Mummy Debra!.
