In Kazakhstan, we were cat-sitting in Almalty Towers, Almaty.
Almalty was clearly richer than Bishkek, where we had arrived from. A few hours in the surrounding countryside made up for an otherwise uninteresting town. Though the cats and I kept each other entertained.
