Not the most exciting place, we at least were introduced lovely street drinks in Bishkek, by our Couchsurfing.com host who took us for brunch on our first day. This is where we first had Plov. a famous Central Asian rice dish, AKA Palov and Osh. The dish typically consists of rice, meat (often lamb), carrots, and onions, and is cooked in a large pot called a kazan. It is near impossible to eat without meat in Bishkek. So Mummy decided to give up trying when travelling lands that make it too hard. This is good for me, because I am a teddy bear who loves his meat!
